The terms and conditions that govern your use of CheckMyCourse services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the CheckMyCourse website at checkmycourse.com, booking a demo, enrolling in any course or using any service offered by CheckMyCourse (a sole proprietorship). ("CheckMyCourse", "we", "us" or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services. These terms apply in addition to any specific enrolment agreement signed at the time of course purchase.

Description of Services

CheckMyCourse provides the following services:

  • Live online instructor-led IT certification training (weekend and weekday batches)
  • Recorded session access (lifetime, where specified)
  • Certification exam preparation materials and mock tests
  • Hands-on lab environments for supported courses
  • Career support services: resume building, mock interviews, placement assistance
  • One-to-one mentoring and career counselling
  • Corporate training programs for teams and organisations

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice to enrolled students.

Eligibility

To enrol in our courses or use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate, current and complete information during registration
  • Meet any course-specific prerequisites communicated at the time of enrolment

Enrolment and Payment

Enrolment in a course is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or the first instalment of an agreed EMI plan. Payment may be made via our authorised payment gateway partners (Razorpay, Stripe or bank transfer as applicable).

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
  • GST is applicable on course fees as per Indian tax regulations
  • Course fees are non-transferable to another person
  • Failure to complete EMI instalments may result in suspension of course access
  • Certification exam voucher fees, where separately charged, are non-refundable once issued

Course Access and Content

Upon enrolment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the course materials for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

  • Live session recordings are made available within 24 hours of each class
  • "Lifetime access" means access for as long as CheckMyCourse continues to operate the platform
  • Course content including slides, notes, lab guides and videos is the intellectual property of CheckMyCourse
  • You must not share, reproduce, distribute or resell any course materials
  • Screen recording or unauthorised recording of live sessions is strictly prohibited
  • We reserve the right to update or modify course content to reflect current industry standards

Code of Conduct

All students are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout their training. The following are prohibited:

  • Harassment, bullying or discriminatory behaviour toward trainers, staff or fellow students
  • Sharing of login credentials or allowing others to access your enrolled account
  • Cheating, plagiarism or academic dishonesty in assessments
  • Using course materials for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Posting defamatory or misleading reviews about CheckMyCourse, its trainers or staff
  • Any activity that disrupts live sessions or the learning experience of others

Breach of this code may result in immediate suspension or termination of your enrolment without refund, at our sole discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on the CheckMyCourse website and within our course materials is owned by or licensed to CheckMyCourse and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Protected content includes:

  • Text, graphics and logos
  • Video recordings of live and pre-recorded sessions
  • Code snippets, lab guides and hands-on exercises
  • Presentation slides and study materials
  • Website design and user interface elements

Without our prior written consent, you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce or distribute any course content
  • Create derivative works based on our materials
  • Use our content for commercial purposes

Vendor logos and certification trademarks (Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Certification and Exam Disclaimers

CheckMyCourse is an authorised training provider for multiple certification programs. However, please note:

  • Completion of our course does not guarantee passing the associated certification exam
  • Exam registration, scheduling and results are governed by the respective certification body (Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, EC-Council, etc.)
  • CheckMyCourse is not responsible for changes to exam format, content or passing scores made by certification bodies
  • Exam vouchers, where provided, are subject to the terms of the issuing vendor

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CheckMyCourse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of earnings or anticipated income
  • Loss of data or course access
  • Failure to pass a certification exam
  • Failure to achieve a specific career outcome or salary increase
  • Business interruption or loss of opportunity

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CheckMyCourse, its directors, trainers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms of Use
  • Misuse of our website or services
  • Violation of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Any content you submit through our forms or communications

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled as follows:

  1. Both parties attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
  2. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute is referred to mediation
  3. If mediation fails, the dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India

For users in the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled students by email and by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
